AFM over THOA
Torch2. It always begins on torch2. Torch2 was the map when the infamous words: 'plains of 9/11' were muttered. Last year, it began on a fateful torch2 match when [AFM]Unfor entered his first AFM match, leading a struggling team (nading everything that showed signs of motion) to victory against NULL. Comments, racial slurs, were exchanged (mostly by unfor)- the epic match resulted in an 8 week suspension that eventually was reduced. Tonight, AFM returned to the TFC scene on the same map under similar circumstances. New faces stood adjunct to a few old familiar few and breathed life back into the machine.
THOA seemed to be reasonable when I played for them over a year ago. I'm not quite sure what happened but apparently, they've made some poor choices on selecting members.
Round 1: We have no server so we ask THOA to use theirs. They kindly accept, or so it seemed. Unfortunately, their server was located on Jupiter, so most of our team had relatively high pings (in comparison to theirs). Upon asking for a server change (as erl mentioned abruptly 'i have a server' in iRC), a few select imbeciles said some unnecessary things and we were denied. After trying to talk to STA and being turned, alt-tabbing back into the server ensued as the round had become live. AFM started off with the early cap somehow and took an early lead. THOA gained the lead, only to have AFM reclaim it at the end of the round. AFM 50-40.
Intermission: Didn't even want to talk to them after the round 1 fiasco, so I exchanged server info. I think i also got banned from their channel at this point so ricky could look cool in front of his internet friends!
Round 2: We acquire Erl's server (located on Earth!). Subs were made asimo in for me/vbus, and jabroni in for daemon on O. Erl came in for Junsei at HW, and Junsei took the place of a lagging sudiphed. Things were significantly different from round 1. To put it bluntly, we capped...alot. Asimo had a final score of 255 (gg mastaflex jr). Not really sure what happened this round since i was sitting around in IRC, but according to the guys who played, 'thoa got wrecked,'as we managed to cap 32 times in the round. I think a few THOA players dropped- not sure, wasn't really paying attention. AFM 320-60.
Apparently, THOA didn't get the memo. AFM invented the term 'asshole.' Anyone else is a 'wannabe.' Didn't think kids like griffin/sex4beer/whoever (don't even know some of them) would act like hardasses against us. However, AFM acted pretty civil despite THOA's behavior- which is surprising for us all. But we have the mentality: 'this is the internet. fuck you. get over it .' AFM doesn't care if it wins or lose, but it does enjoy exacting it's own vigilante justice- smiting the wicked. We managed to beat you on your laggy server when you had a distinct ping advantage which was far more satisfying for some of us than beating you by a gazillion caps round 2.
I'll be blunt. King Nada is great- he's wrecked me far too many times when he was in tmp and when I was in tM. That being said, he is your best player and you'll never see him be an asshole. Take it from me- being assholes just doesn't work out for you. Please don't give me that 'haha we don't care' bullshit, because, well, that's our excuse. Next time, play nice- otherwise, you may actually see first-hand what so many clans have complained about when they've played us.

Wait, let me get this straight...because each team gets a round on their server, we're assholes?
What else did we do besides play a round on our server which we're allowed to do? Also, your demoman started the OvO, and you guys were the ones crying your eyes out about the server. So, what exactly did we do or start? Oh yea, nothing, so nice fake writeup.
Is it that hard in TFC these days for clans to just get along, play a match, and say GG afterwards. The difference in round scores was cause our demoman left, its that simple.
The ping difference was 27 in the endgame screenshot, so keep thinking it was the ping that made it close.

the ping difference was 27 because one player on your team was on dial up or something and pinged 2-300, throwing your average ping up a lot. Meanwhile, pretty much all of us were pinging very badly. and the rules do state you play a round at each team's server, but if it is mutually agreed then one server can be used for both rounds. You guys could've at least given our server a shot round 1 and seen if you liked it or not. Instead, you stuck us with "deal with it" and other such comments. So basically, instead of being decent guys and understanding that we were not connecting well to your server you told us to stick it up our asses because you knew you would have and needed an advantage.

Thats true Sut we did, but so did you, King Nada and Saa were both pinging 309 in the endgame ss. We had 4 people pinging over 100, you had 6. To me its not that big of a difference to need an admin to come check it out and request a new server, thats all I'm saying.
Anyways, rd1 was a good game, rd2 we had to scramble together 9 who didn't fit the classes needed for Torch2 well, and look what happened. Oh well, its a game, I still had fun, and I'm sure you guys did to...the match is over, let us go in peace.

Alexander Gallon, who was four months old, died in a fire at a house in Cowgate, Newcastle, on Sunday.
His mother, Danielle Catherine Wails, has been charged with murder and is due in front of Newcastle magistrates.
Ms Wails was arrested on Wednesday. Police have suspended an appeal for two men initially sought in connection with their inquiries.
On Tuesday, another woman in her early 20s was arrested and bailed by police.
