Writeup:

K}{R over nLv

It's amazing how the leagues schedule for K}{R. We're streaky. We'll have several matches against a single opponent within a week or two, and then play the same people a month later. This week, TFL and STA have conspired to give us two matches against nLv, on warpath_l and roasted_l. Not that I'm complaining, mind. They're a good bunch of guys, and play a clean match. Warpath and roasted 8v8 are also fun maps.

That out of the way...

Round 1 found us on K}{R's server. We like our server, and so does everyone else, except a couple clans full of Canadians or some other breed of mythical creature. Pings were even, lag was fine, and I got to play. Our strategy took nLv by surprise, I think, and we got a quick full cap within the first minute of the game. It continued this way for a little while, but about halfway through the round nLv adjusted and got a couple of full-caps of their own, and slowed us down a lot. I played scout. I had the lowest score and the most deaths. I enjoyed it, and I'd do it again. Just to spite you, do you understand me? Just to spite you.

Round 1: 279-150, K}{R

Round 2, I didn't play. First off, I was hungry. Second, sirVIPER had adjusted the strategy, and K}{R is something like 3-182 when the strategy is adjusted between rounds, and I like to be able to say that I wasn't a participant in the debacle. He probably had the right idea, though, as you can't surprise someone twice with the same setup. It was on the K}{R server again, because we've got HLTV and all that crap. The new strategy didn't lead to some kind of colossal implosion, thankfully, but the match was clearly less of a capfest.

Round 2: 180-160, K}{R

Final score: K}{R 459, nLv 310.

Also, just as an aside: K}{R 1, Mr_Rage's preds, 0.

Yam.

okay.... I had made a comment, which was not posted above, but it wouldnt allow me to add my comment until I was logged in. So, i THOUGHT I copied my comment that I had typed out, logged in, repasted it, and hit add comment. Well, I didnt look... the above was me poking fun of Equinox in a privy channel we used to be in. So, with that out of the way, let me rephrase what I tried to post before. GG nLv, rd2 I was yelling at Viper for taking a scout away from me.... But once we rotated in a stronger HW, who was away eating RiCE :P we were able to hold cp3 longer, allowing our scouts to go for 4->5 more. I had fun on that map, but I would love to quit playing it now, and say KHR is 2-0 in it :P

Did KHR pull that 6 scout shit again? LOL, I must admit i've never been soo unprepared for a match then when GoW played KHR on warpath.

they didn't run the 6 scouts in rd2, but in rd1 i think they started out with something along those lines... it was rough peanut butter :o
