SIN over THOA

What an intense match!

Round 1 kicked off after 20 minutes of trying to track down a THOA leader. I guess they were tweaking their strat. It showed on the opening rush when they ran almost straight through to our base and grabbed a quick all-cap. They followed it up a little later with another and held a good lead for most of the round. SIN fought back, holding point three and flirting with an all-cap a couple times, but we couldn't get passed their last line of defense. As the round wore on, we managed to pull ourselves back into it, slowly. Round 1 ended with THOA in a significant lead.

Going into round 2 we were confident that if we could hold off the initial rush of scouts, we could eventually wear down their lead. As expected, 6-8 scouts stormed our base, but most of them were picked up at the choke points. In the fury, our scouts managed to take point three and cruise on to their second point. We setup base at point 3 and held for most of the round. Minoxic managed to break through their defense and grab our only all-cap of the match.

Toward the end of the round, THOA went back to their initial rush strategy in an attempt to grab a winning all-cap. For the last 5 minutes there were red scouts everywhere. Somehow we fought them off and killed several of them right before they jumped on the last cap point.

Round 2 ends with SIN in the lead by just enough to take the match.
