Unfortunatly, a quick look to the right shows D on a six game losing streak since coming back to 1a, which might pose a problem if you end up taking the trip back to 2a (might be a good thing if you can't handle one sniper).

Phish, you're the man, but our grief with this past Thursdays match has nothing to do with prior events. You've all declared this strategy we used some two months ago as lame, but I've yet to hear a single reason as to why.
We found it was the most effective defense to use and we ran it. An effective defense is never fun to run against, ever. Its not like we did anything that would normally be considered lame either. We used five defense total, consisting of one HW, one Soldier, and three engineers. I've never known the engineer class to be considered overpowered or unbalanced, and we used the defensive norm as far as the numbers of players go, so what exactly did we do wrong?
I remember years ago Jell-() used to routinely run two, sometimes three demomen depending on the map, and I certainly don't recall anyone giving them shit about it. We aren't talking about HW's here either, so spare me in advance.
Also, you capped on our super-lame strategy THIRTEEN TIMES, a total which exceeds or equals the totals of three other Gold clans that very same week. How did we waste your night when its very possible you would have capped less had you played another clan? Oh thats right, because its all bullshit.
You declared an unconventional strategy that we used as lame for ambiguous or non-existant reasons. Furthermore, you decided that the use of said strategy warranted revenge in a match over two full months after the fact. If you can't understand why we are pissed about Thursdays match, I don't know what else to say. I think its pretty fucking clear who was in the wrong here, but what do I know?

Since you're trying to prove the legitamcy of your defense strat (you had a demoman), i'll just point out that HC having one additional defense member, a sniper (with bad aim) on a map with a long yard was completely legal and legitamate in said match and league.
