3Q over BoA

Map: crossover2
Round 1_____________________________________________
3Q Offense Lineup: Bricktop, Crazie, Louie, Skull
3Q Defense Lineup: AB, Doc, Mustang, Exe, Cye
BoA could only manage 8 ppl for the round so we thought we had a pretty good edge. Things didn't turn out so easy. They managed to pull the first cap while our Defense was having some problems with its 2 soldiers getting high ping spikes and choke. After some confusion from the Offense on who was blowing the tunnel, they cranked it up a notch and brought in 3 caps to make it 3-1 in favor of 3Q. I've been told the first flag cap for 3Q was conced out of the FR to yard by none other than Crazie.....crazy. He looked like a medic moving at tank speed. For the rest of the match the score was either tied or 3Q had a 1 cap lead. We gave up some relays but so did they. Round ends 6-5 in favor of us. GJ to Exe for holding the back way pretty well.
Round 2______________________________________________
3Q Offense Lineup: Fuzzy, Bricktop, Louie, Skull
3Q Defense Lineup: AB, Doc, Mustang, Crz, Cye
Round 2 BoA fields 9 but we've got Fuzzy so we still feel like we've got an edge. Embarrassed by the fact that our defense gave up so many caps to 3 offense, we decided to change up the strat at the half We moved AB to demo and mustang to soldier......note to universe: Don't let mustang solly . Our defense started off terrible and gave up the first cap of the round again. Their offense was dropping into the pit 3 or 4 at a time and we really weren't stopping their steady flag movement, though we did have a couple good returns primarily due to Flag location. On offense, Skull made them paranoid with his espionage....that or he threatened to strangle them with a rock...wtf?! As expected, we had much better and more consistent flag movement this round. Fuzzy stopped and touched the ground a few times and apparently everything didn't go wrong for Brick this time. Halfway through the round the D switched it back the way it was round one, with AB playing pit, Mustang on Demo, and Cye as soldier pushing with Doc on bridge to their base. That worked out much better and we managed to shuttoff their caps for the most part. The round ends 11-7 in favor of 3Q with a cap at the last second but the logs only show 10 .... how the hell do you strangle someone with a rock ?!
O MVP: Louie
D MVP: Doc

Ya that last cap was weird, the final scoreboard comes up and the cap happens at virtually the same instant.
gg BoA, lots of intense action.

Pretty much Mikester takes full credit of the lost, no matter if he played or not...just the sheer presence/mention of him would insure a lost :P
