Tonight was a fun match mostly... I don't have time to do a big writeup, so sorry gr :[
tempest had been boasting all week about how amazing of an O demo he was on bases... turned out he was wrong, like all of us knew.
Round 1
-------
gr is short 2 players... they muster up at 7th just in time, but he drops right as we start, only to reappear about 5 minutes into the round.
gr's score shows that it's not easy to cap on bases without a full offense. with that aside, we had a few people playing in not their usual positions, and did pretty well for the most part.
on offense, nLv made their base were belong to us, and pretty much had a steady flow of flags and iMac dets in their FR. ghost and i make a sexy potw on the ramp, and that's just about it for the highlights of rd1.

Round 2

A few people come in, and a few switch positions for rd2. ied comes in for ghost and this time gr has a full team. gr is only a cap or two down for most of the round this time, but nlv's able to keep them at bay.
tempest gays it up like usual when he defends our flag in the yard, and then gr starts OvO'ing in retalliation. I don't think I ever got OvO'd, but I saw everyone else doing it...
ied ends up going pyro and soon we've got yard heavies and HW offenses and all sorts of fun stuff. Luckily by the time this gets started, there are only a few minutes left in the round.
gr hangs in there and puts up a nice fight in rd2.
