Writeup:
AtG over K}{R
The last time we met up with |K}{R|, they handed us our first loss as a clan. It was an especially frustrating loss, as a number of things had gone horribly wrong throughout the night, so we were looking forward to this chance at redeeming ourselves on waterwar. Things started off nicely, with us slowly building up a lead while holding relatively well on defense. This wouldn't last long however, as |K}{R| started swarming us with spies, forcing us to switch up the strat a number of times. They scored a number of caps in succession towards the end of the round, but we managed to hold from there on out for a result of 90-50.
We went into round 2 with a new strategy planned for defense, but soon found ourselves in a constant state of disarray. |K}{R| got off to an excellent start, pulling out three or four unanswered caps and threatening to hand us another disappointing loss. We made some changes on defense and it was looking like we were just going to have to be content with holding long enough to force overtime, but amazingly, beast came through with a ridiculously clutch coast-to-coast cap in the final minute to secure the victory. Not the most convincing (or healthy) way to win a match or redeem a loss, but we'll take it.
