Round 1
Amid a flurry of internet problems---our server was apparently in difficulty, DragonSmacker couldn't connect to kTp's server for a while, and I got disconnected twice during the round---we managed to play a pretty good round. After I returned from my second disconnection, a couple of minutes after prematch, we were down, four to nothin'. A flurry of flag activity brought us even and eventually on top. The round ended on a stressful note: 10-9 K}{R.
Offense first round for K}{R was Moon-Guardian, MrBill, DragonSmacker, and myself.
Defense was our fearless leader, TempesT, muggo, McVries, and our newest recruit, ODAY. Welcome to K}{R, ODAY. You sound like you're dying when you smoke.
Round 2
Thankfully for my stat line, our Tejas server was repaired for the second round, so that I could actually play something besides Abdullah the Islamic EMPer. (That was culturally insensitive. I apologize in advance.) We made only one roster change: DragonSmacker, who didn't want to play first round, swapped out for Factor-X, who left within the first two minutes to let Taleniekov play. Oddly enough, this round was even closer, and ended on a tie, 9-9.
Final score, 19-18 K}{R.
I love pitfall. I may be the only one, but goddangit, I do heart it.
