uC vs Scissors
Scissors came into tonight with a 12 game win streak and only 1 loss in their existence. Not a bad start at all. This on the other hand forced our hand because we couldn't allow an old-school clan like KiN lose it's spot on the all-time winning percentage to a clan that formed during TFC's last leg. So for the sake of humanity we had to win.
We've been fortunate enough lately to have a somewhat normal 9 man roster in both leagues so things have been going well since our lose to...vampire's clan lol. However, tonight we had our normal luck with people showing very last minute thanks to real life issues and router problems. So we had no clue who was playing O. Nothing new. Only thing that was certain was that I was NOT playing O. Not being a fan of baked I got to watch this one from HLTV for the good of the team!!
Round 1 - Scissors jumps out to a quick lead with two fast caps while gooster is on vent asking me how to build a gun. L4 my ass. Our D has a few long holds and our O is busy getting juggled around by their own grenades. In the end we end the round down by 1 after what we thought could have been a much worse outcome. Rnd 1 6-5 in favor of scissors. Offense - Brick, clutch, xoom, beast
Halftime - I told them all how I'm surprised we weren't down by 10 without me playing and people laughed. I failed to see the humor.
Round 2 - Hoopajoo came in for beast and things got rolling. Caps were traded for awhile until it was even at 4-4. Then the O just sat on their faces. They couldn't recover and we ran out 4 caps in a row. It was pretty much over then. Round ends 10-5.
