short writeup because I have a hot date tonight. thanks goes out to the ladies at WaR for starting right on time. round 1 was a good game even though several of our players hated war's server. a specific gg goes out to toastie who played a mean top spiral HW. funny how he'd wreck everyone whenever their flag was near bottom spiral, and then be noticably worse at aiming when their flag was in the flag room. probably just an innocent toggle or two.
round 2 I decide I don't like overtime so I got myself a coast to coast cap on the scout rush for the second week in a row. thank you, I'll wait for you to finish applauding. our second cap was a little tougher, and if it weren't for everyone's favorite aXehole we probably wouldn't have gotten the cap. our set play worked to perfection on the second cap, which prompted me to admit to everyone that I am in fact Pat Riley. Our defense scores us a handy 5 point bonus a few minutes later, and we got a touch with about 5:46 left to narrowly avoid giving away another 5 points. Nauf decided to get a touch with about 49 seconds left in the match, sealing war's fate as the losers tonight.
