jiggs writeup :)) TDA over WOLF in STA Gold Division Title Match on February 12, 2001 on bases_r2
This writeup is dedicated to our good friend [TDA]Owl...who had to leave the clan recently due to real life concerns... Im not sure what we are going to do without our Super-Engy...
Round 1: [TDA]Grounds of Judgement
We started on time...WHOOHOO! I was a scout for the rush..and I danced like a butterfly...and stung like a mosquito... Then I was swatted like a mosquito by a soldier...TDA's scout rush didn't net much more than a touch... Then WOLF started to pull out a flag...and so did TDA... It was almost synchronized capping for a bit...until TDA managed to pull out a couple capps in a row... TDA's D tryed their hardest to hold onto the flag as long as they could (Ha! i mentioned the Defense Deathmark...so be happy!)...but WOLF's O would not be denied... I think that our D was still a bit despondent over OWL's absense... TDA's O also would not take "No" for an answer...(even when that NO was backed by a few rockets and grenades...) and pulled out enough flags to take the lead... The funniest moment in the round occured when [TDA]Swifty said over bcom..."Hurry up guys, im about to cap...get the flag when it returns..." I rushed into the flagroom...to see that it was still sitting in there...DOH! Swifty's explanation was Packet-loss...but I belive that he was also dejected over the loss of his roommate-in-crime...Owl...

This round also started with extreme punctuality... This round played quite similarly to the first round...with capps happening fast and furious on both sides... TDA's d once again fought their little hearts out...despite that fact that I couldn't find them a grief counselor on such short notice... Our O was once again the little engine (of spam) that could...and the cappage was grandiose... Near the end of the round...WOLF's Defense tightened up considerably...and stopped our O from capping for the rest of the round...

Great game WOLF...it was a load of fun...
