Funnage with [RoC] in TFL! It was a dark evening on the battlefield between Realm of Chaos [RoC] and /tmp on the oh so menacing map called Gleadhraich_r. Maybe coincidence, maybe not, that these two clans had faced off on this very map before. The results of that legendary defensive slugfest ended up being in favor of [RoC]15-11. Would /tmp get their vengeance and first win on this dank dreary map? Or would Chaos reign once again. Round 1 Both teams saw touches from their scout rushes, but little more. As is usually the case, persistence paid off for both sides and RoC was able to capitalize first with a cap, /tmp soon followed, and then RoC rolled a couple off in a row, capitalizing on the quickness of their offense and sneaking in and out the back door. Keymaster and DKStrike did some major butt kickin? this round as the flagroom engie duo. Keymaster of course wanted everyone to know he was ?rusty? after not playing in a match in over a month (yeah right, 50 frags - more than anybody on either team). Yohan was doing the most complaining this round, something about his suckage as soldier in the lobby. The rest of the /tmp defense wouldn?t hear any of that talk and told him to get some cheese with his whine. On the battle ensued, the temporary clan seemed to have their Offense working good and managed another cap but so did [RoC]. Round 1 - 32-17 [RoC] Round 2 This round was played on /tmp?s server and to say that they are more comfortable on their home server would be an understatement. The round started off very interesting to say the least. DKStrike decided to continue his PreMatch spammage even after PM ended and found himself spawning as a Demo instead of Engie, as you can imagine this created some confusion and delayed in getting the flag room SG?s up. [RoC] promptly took advantage of the situation and skated home with an early first cap. Medium and the ping whore that he is conveniently ?missed? round 1 but promptly declared his readiness to play round 2 with his 28 ping. He kicked ass too, practically shutting down the upper entrance to the flag room. Yohan played low this round, and got to play chase around the windowed wall with the scout [RoC]BigEd many times. After RoC?s quick cap they rarely touched the flag, much less made it outside the base with it. /tmp Offense was workin? their tail off though and managed a cap about half-way through the round. /tmp had another flag in the lobby when PinkFuzz lost his connection and couldn?t get back in. By the time a sub was sent in, the flag had returned and /tmp had missed a golden opportunity to get within 1 cap of winning the match. Round 2 - 11-9 /tmp Final 41-28 Chaos wins! GG RoC As was the case last time, a great match against a great clan. /tmp/Yohan
