TTK Shutdowns /tmp in TFL
The TF League Playoffs started this week but /tmp didn't make the cut to battle for the 2a Title. All clans still got to play the playoff maps as was the case this week between /tmp and Trained To Kill. Due to a scheduling error, /tmp had originally been scheduled to play a clan that had requested a few weeks off. Luckily though, TTK had a forced bye and jumped at the opportunity to play a match at the last minute.
Round 1
/tmp hosted round 1 and it ended up being a defensive slug fest (as is usually the case on Shutdown2). Both clans only managed a handful of touches for the entire round. I would like to say somebody got close to a cap that first round but the flag never left the flag room of either squad. Great job by the defenses!

Round 2
Round 2 /tmp put in a fresh Offensive unit and subbed out a couple on D as well. TTK figured if they were gonna get the /tmp flag they better do it on the opening scout rush. Well, they pulled off a great scout rush and managed to move the flag out of the flag room on their first run. We were able to hold the flag for a little while but eventually TTK struck first blood. They obviously relaxed after capping because O pyro became a common site assaulting the /tmp D. TTK defense didn?t relax even despite /tmp sending over one of our D engies, Keymaster, to sling emps. TTK defense held up to the assault and only allowed a few flag touches. Meanwhile, TTK managed to bring out a 2nd cap due to some steller spyage.
